We got lots of great feedback (and sighs of relief) when we posted last weeks round up of the best Christmas gift guides. But there has been one more guide pop up this week we just have to share because a) we know you will love it, b) these girls know what they are talking about when it comes to beautiful things, and c) we are certain it will save you those likely headaches over the next 5 days trying to figure out what your sister really needs as opposed to what she is telling you she wants….
Emily Power and Antonia Acott are Fashionista’s Australia (a must read site to subscribe to by the way!) and they have put together an (aptly named) Last Minute Gift Guide covering everyone on your list, in every price bracket.
There is so much good stuff in this list of goodies (40 in fact), but for me, I will be sending my partner a hint for their book ‘Fashionista’s Guide to Shopping in Melbourne’ as a perfect stocking stuffer. From all reports, it’s THE ultimate book on Melbourne’s best boutiques!
I know many of our readers will agree with me that keeping up with the latest cafes, shops, and bars in your local area can be tough due to never having enough time to sleep let alone shop (which is why Australia Post parcel guys know me by name – I’m a self-confessed regular online shopper)… But being a Melbourne girl, I think it’s time I got back to knowing where to shop if and when I do actually have time (a 2013 resolution perhaps!).
The book certainly makes for a great bible for out-of-towners too who love to slip in some cheeky shopping when visiting Melbourne.
You can get your copy of ‘Fashionista’s Guide to Shopping in Melbourne’ for $19.95 online here.
Oh, and I think I have forgotten to mention, that yes, sorella & me has also been included in Fashionista’s Australia ultimate guide – Emily recommends our organic sleepshirt in gardenia for your sister… And it’s definitely not too late to pick this beauty up with our offer of free express shipping on all orders up to 3pm Friday 21st Dec, meaning she won’t wake up sad and rejected on Christmas morning 🙂
